Description
Epipremnum Pinnatum 'Albo' Care Sheet
Common Name: Variegated Epipremnum Pinnatum
Scientific Name: Epipremnum pinnatum 'Variegated'
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light but may lose some of its vibrant variegation and grow more slowly.
Water:
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out before watering. Water thoroughly, but ensure the pot has drainage to avoid root rot.
Humidity:
Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly, use a humidity tray, or place near a humidifier to maintain ideal conditions.
Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 18–29°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C, as it is sensitive to cold.
Soil:
Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix. A mix with added perlite or orchid bark helps improve drainage and aeration.
Fertilizer:
Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in winter.
Pruning:
Trim leggy vines to encourage fuller growth. Cut just above a node to promote new growth and branching.
Toxicity:
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
