Description
Pothos 'Marble Queen' Care Sheet
Common Name: Marble Queen Pothos
Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen'
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate low light, but the variegation may fade, and growth may slow down.
Water:
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out before watering. Water thoroughly, but ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent waterlogging.
Humidity:
Tolerates average humidity but benefits from higher humidity levels. Misting occasionally or placing near a humidifier can improve growth.
Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 18–24°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C.
Soil:
Use a well-draining, all-purpose indoor potting mix. A mix with added perlite or sand is ideal for improved drainage.
Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with a diluted liquid houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding in winter when growth slows.
Pruning:
Trim back leggy vines to encourage fuller growth. Cut just above a node to promote new growth.
Toxicity:
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
