Watering:

  • Water when the top 3–5cm of soil is dry.

  • Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy.

  • Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

Humidity:

  • Thrives in high humidity (60–80%).

  • Ideal for humid rooms or use with a humidifier.

Temperature:

  • Ideal range: 18–28°C.

  • Avoid temperatures below 15°C and sudden temperature changes.

Soil:

  • Use a well-draining, airy aroid mix (potting soil, perlite, orchid bark, coco peat).

  • Good aeration is essential for healthy roots.

Fertilizing:

  • Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.

  • Reduce feeding during autumn and winter.

Pruning & Maintenance:

  • Remove yellow or damaged leaves at the base.

  • Clean leaves gently with a damp cloth to highlight their dramatic texture.
